How do I preserve my wedding flowers in a non-traditional way?

I want to preserve my wedding flowers but I don’t want to freeze dry them or put them in a shadow box. Does anyone know a unique way to preserve my flowers?

Like you I am not very traditional so when I wanted to preserve my wedding bouquet flowers I searched the web for flower preservation and memorial jewelry. I found this site www.isiskeepsakes.com. They can take your flowers, whether fresh or already dried, and create a keepsake for you. I had them make me a beautiful flower petal earring and pendant set for myself and had a bracelet made for my mother. Their jewelry is beautiful and unique and is much less expensive than freeze drying and I can wear my flowers forever.

I’m looking at flowers for my wedding & I’m having a black & white wedding with a splash of hot pink.
What are the nicest type flowers to have?

Well, if you’re using silk flowers you can have anything you want.
There is no such thing as a truly black flower, and most of the flowers that are close to black naturally are very very expensive and hard to find if you can find them.
Perhaps plan on using something like dried eucalyptus leaves spray painted black with your white flowers. For hot pink you could use dianthus or perhaps something that has been dyed like carnations which take up dye very well.
For a formal wedding you might want to simply use white flowers in black vases with pink bows. Roses or lilies always look very formal.

Wedding Flowers what vibrant colour goes with pale turqoise?

I have a wedding coming up and I am trying to work on colours for my bridal bouquet..my bridesmaid dresses are a very pale turqoise, I want some white flowers in there, but as my wedding colours are pale turquoise and silver I fell it needs a virbrant colour to make it stand out. Any Ideas?

A purple or lavender color I think would look great together or maybe even a yellow or goldish color

Wedding theme is sapphire blue and white. Any ideas? I don’t want purple blues (like iris’ or blue tulips/roses) or baby blues. Crisp bright blues and whites are what I am looking for.

Delphinium is nice, but I think that’s more of a summer plant. You could probably find it in April, but it might be a little pricey.

Blue flowers aren’t that common so you may have some difficulty finding flowers to fit your theme.

The second picture with the white box, the vase with the purple flowers? what are they, i have the same card box and my wedding colors are purple and i’m going to try to make it something like that.. any ideas of what else i can put on my card box table?

What ever you do…don’t do anything like that! If you are going to do a simple glass vase of flowers for your card box table go with a vase that has an opening 1/2 that size and have someone who knows what they are doing arrange it. It’s hard to tell what kind of flowers those are from the picture but if you like the small delicate texture then do something shorter, tight and compact.

Our wedding will need 8 center pieces 5 bouteneers 5 bridal boquets and the brides boquet. im trying to get an estimate on how much flowers will cost

For our wedding, centerpieces were $150 each, boutonnieres were free of charge, bridesmaids bouquets were $75 each, and my bouquet was $175.

The wedding was right outside of NYC where prices tend to be high. The cost of the flowers also depends on how big the arrangements will be, and the type of flowers you use.

I want something unusual yet beautiful for my wedding flowers. I’ve been looking around and have two kinds in mind. Sunflowers and Stargazer lilies. What do you like best and why? All input is welcome and wanted!

Any type of lily and you’ve got me in love. They’re so beautiful and not many people use them.

For sunflowers, I have never seen them used for a wedding and I think that would be very pretty as well.

The two together would look wonderful. You can pull it off with really large sunflower surrounded by the lilies.

I’m having my wedding in May. Our colors are green, black, brown and white. It will be an elegant rustic wedding. What flowers would look good with sunflowers (and no I’m not changing the sunflowers to gerber daisies). I thought about wild flowers but I’m not sure if I want a bright bouquet.

Im having my wedding next june and actually having the same theme, kind of a vintage rustic country thing haha.
But i am planning to use sunflowers, white shasta daisies and babys breath, just very simple. you could also use alot of foliage? Hope this helps
