Jessica Ahlquist did do anything wrong and doesn’t deserve this treatment. She identified an illegal action, reported it, and it was resolved by the court system. She didn’t go looking for trouble. She didn’t harm anybody. She merely asserted the law even when a lot of people didn’t like what the law had to say. She isn’t a villain, but she’s certainly being treated as such. I’d be willing to leave my home right now to deliver a dozen roses to her in person, free of charge even though that’s easily a 9 hour drive away. What she deserves is support and congratulations for doing the right thing even when it was difficult.

Those who hate what she did, including the legislator who referred to her as "an evil little thing," do not belong in the United States. Let them leave our fair nation to found a Christian theocracy of their own elsewhere.

But if she wasn’t an atheist? If she was instead a member of a religion haivng to endure this treatment? It would be an outrage. It’s insane just how reviled atheists are at times.

I’m an Atheist and I don’t really think that what she did is laudable. Nor do I support the people who had the Utah Highway Crosses removed by Court Order or make all the fuss about the use of the word "God" in God Bless America, God Save the Queen, One Nation under God etc etc.

Just a thought, but, had it been a Jasmine Ali instead of Jessica Ahlquist, we would have had the President of USA – Barack Hussein Obama would have made a speech about how Multiculturalism and Political Correctness demands that all the Florists be sued for discrimination and they would have been sued, too. And all the Democrats, their PC Brigades and Apologists would have leaped into the fray. And, God forbid if one of the Florists turned out to be a Muslim as well.
