Here are the longer and shorter strokes and how to layer them, curving them inwardly in order to make the open center of the peony. The petals are scalloped.
Whereas the pistols and stamen are
smaller, calligraphic strokes: press a bit on the tip and then move the brush downward. Make them different heights. Cluster the strokes. Make them uneven at the base. I don’t catch all the language, sorry.
